Revise.vn (operated by Lampy Tech TNHH, registered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) is the data controller for personal data collected through this service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under the Vietnam Personal Data Protection Decree (Decree 91/2025/NĐ-CP) and applicable international standards.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password (hashed), preferred language, role (student / parent / teacher).
  • Essay content: the text of essays you submit for AI feedback, plus rubric scores and AI-generated coaching notes.
  • Family links: parent–child relationships you explicitly create through invite codes.
  • Classroom data: classroom membership, assignment submissions (for school accounts).
  • Usage telemetry: aggregated counts (essays submitted, model cost) for billing and abuse prevention.

2. Why we process it

  • To provide AI feedback on your essays. Your essay text is sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter, routing to Alibaba Qwen) for the duration of one inference call.
  • To show progress over time in your portfolio, parent dashboard, and teacher classroom view.
  • To enforce paid-tier limits and bill subscriptions.
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax, anti-fraud, data subject requests).

3. AI processing — important

  • Essay text is sent to AI models only at the moment you request feedback.
  • We do not use your essays to train AI models. Our provider contracts prohibit training on our payloads.
  • Essay text is retained on our servers for up to 90 days after submission, then deleted.
  • Rubric scores and aggregated analytics are kept for as long as your account is active so progress charts remain meaningful.

4. Sharing

  • Guardians you've opted-in via Settings → Guardian email receive a weekly rubric-score summary — never the essay text itself.
  • Service providers: Supabase (database hosting, EU/US), Vercel (web hosting, US), OpenRouter (AI routing), PayOS (payments, Vietnam). We have data-processing agreements with each.
  • We do not sell personal data. Ever.

5. Your rights under PDPL

You may, at any time:

  • Access a copy of your personal data and consent history.
  • Correct or delete your data.
  • Withdraw any consent (Settings → Privacy).
  • Restrict or object to specific processing.
  • Request portability of your essays and scores.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Vietnam Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05).

6. Children

For users under 16, parental consent is required before account creation. Schools using Revise.vn under an institutional pilot agree to obtain parental consent at enrolment. Parents may revoke consent and request deletion of a child's account at any time by emailing privacy@revise.vn.

7. Changes to this policy

We will email you and require fresh consent if a future change materially affects how your data is processed. Minor clarifications may be made without notice; the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
