Thư chuyên ngành y tế dựa trên case notes. 12 chuyên ngành được OET hỗ trợ: Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiography, Speech Pathology, Veterinary Science, Optometry, Podiatry, Dietetics.
Rubric giải thích
Cambridge Boxhill rubric: 6 tiêu chí 0–7. Tổng quy đổi ra letter grade A / B / C+ / C / D / E trên score report.
Purpose (0–7)
Mục đích thư nêu ngay trong câu đầu. A/B level: purpose trong 2 dòng đầu.
Content (0–7)
CHỌN thông tin phù hợp recipient — KHÔNG gom toàn bộ case notes. Thông tin thừa HẠ điểm.
Conciseness & Clarity (0–7)
Không lặp; bỏ thông tin recipient đã biết.
Genre & Style (0–7)
Salutation / closing đúng recipient type (GP vs specialist vs family).
Organisation & Layout (0–7)
Paragraphing logic, date format DD/MM, layout chuẩn.
Language (0–7)
Grammar, range, spelling ở register y khoa chuyên nghiệp.
Cách tính điểm
Tổng /42. Grade A (38–42), B (30–37), C+ (24–29), C (18–23), D (10–17), E (<10). Mỗi regulatory body có threshold riêng (phần lớn yêu cầu B).
Note
Revise yêu cầu case notes paste vào prompt field. Không có case notes → refuse to grade.
Khác biệt giữa các band / cấp độ
Grade A
Top band tất cả tiêu chí (thường 6–7 mỗi tiêu chí).
Grade B
Strong — đạt threshold cho hầu hết UK/AU/NZ nursing & medical bodies.
Grade C+
Mixed, pass một số regulatory bodies nhưng không phải tất cả.
Grade C
Competent nhưng dưới threshold phần lớn hội đồng.
Grade D/E
Đang phát triển / deficient.
